  • 2 cups unsalted margarine (360 g)
  • eggs
  • 1/2 cup of milk (125 mL)
  • 1 tbsp pisco (15 mL)
  • 2 rectangular puff pastry sheets
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract (15 mL)
  • 6 tablespoons of sugar (90 g)
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar powder (45 g)
  • 3 tablespoons of cornstarch (45 g)

  1. First , make a pastry cream. Add a little milk to the cornstarch to dissolve and set aside.
  2. Beat with egg, margarine and sugar. Beat it so that the bubbles rise and set it aside.
  3. Add the milk and vanilla extract to the pisco and heat until the boiling point is reached.
  4. Turn off the heat and mix the mixture with eggs, margarine and sugar.
  5. Put all the mixture on low heat and finally add the loosened cornstarch.
  6. Keep stirring until the dough is thick. Make sure the dough is soft and doesn't clump.
  7. Pay attention to the texture of the dough and keep stirring. It is important to keep stirring even after cooling. 
  8. When the pastry cream is finished, put it in the refrigerator.

  1. Cut the puff pastry sheet in half and set aside.
  2. Place a sheet of puff pastry on a baking pan with  paper foil .
  3. Fix the puff pastry sheet properly to the floor. It's a good idea to drill a hole with a fork so it doesn't come up.

  5. Preheat the oven to about 180 degrees and bake the puff pastry layer for 15 minutes.
